Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in microbiology.
- Supervise MPhil and PhD students.
- Apply for competitive research grants and secure external funding.
- Conduct independent and collaborative high-standard research projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate a strong research track record in microbiology.
- Show commitment to undergraduate teaching and postgraduate supervision.
- Have a record of external funding support, international recognition, and leadership.
- Experience in microbial biology, translational microbiome research, bioinformatics, or systems microbiology is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for up to three years initially, commencing as soon as possible; may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation upon mutual agreement.
