Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mechanical engineering.
- Develop externally funded research programs with high impact outcomes.
- Supervise postgraduate students.
- Provide service to the Department, Faculty, University, professional organizations, and the community.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven record of academic scholarship.
- High potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Appointment
- Contract — up to three years initially, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation; outstanding candidates with substantial experience may be considered for immediate substantive appointment.
