Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mechanical engineering.
- Develop externally funded high-impact research programmes.
- Supervise postgraduate students.
- Provide service to the Department, Faculty, University, professional organizations, and the community.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline required.
- Proven record of academic scholarship and high potential for excellence in teaching and research.
- Experience in engineering materials and structures, computational materials, energy storage, green building, building automation, or environmental engineering preferred.
Appointment
- Contract — up to three years initially, commencing August 2025; may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation subject to mutual agreement; outstanding candidates with substantial experience may be considered for substantive appointment immediately.
