Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and design a software solution to control and operate the pipeline health monitoring system.
- Create a WebApp or SCADA system to manage actions and executions for the water supply network project.
- Contribute to an interdisciplinary team working on time reversal and imaging techniques for urban water systems.
- Participate in research spanning pipeline hydraulics, machine learning, and optimization.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering (lower qualifications may be considered).
- Proficiency in programming with Object-Oriented design and Web-based development using JavaScript and HTML.
- Database expertise with Oracle and SQL, and experience with statistical data management and visualization.
- Familiarity with programming languages including C/C++, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Microsoft Visual Basic/J++, and VBScript.
- Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical approach to technical problem-solving and ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Appointment
- Full-time, 1-2 year contract (renewable)
