Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models and real-time HIL experiments on RT-Lab/OPAL-RT or RTDS for power/energy systems.
- Construct and document the HIL experimental platform including hardware wiring, instrumentation, and safety interlocks.
- Develop or implement AI/ML algorithms to categorize students' learning levels and provide personalized learning materials.
- Work with professors to develop the website, dashboards, courseware, and support teaching labs.
- Build a system to promote appropriate learning materials and integrate data pipelines for learning analytics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
- Proven hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink and real-time HIL power system simulation using RT-Lab or RTDS.
- Good command of English and Chinese languages.
- Strong communication skills and strong interests in AI in education.
- Preferred: knowledge and experience in machine learning, User Interface design, and website development.
Appointment
- Contract — one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
