Senior IT Officer (System Administrator)

Duties & Responsibilities

Design, implement, manage and maintain IT infrastructure including virtual machines, servers, and storage systems for on-premises and cloud projects.
Oversee administrative tasks for Active Directory, Azure, ADFS, IAM, Linux, DNS, LDAP, Shibboleth, email, web and database servers.
Strengthen system security through vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and patch management.
Plan, implement, and maintain server rooms and data centers.
Conduct daily operational health checks and monitor IT systems to identify and address potential issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals for servers, systems, and network infrastructure.

Hold a Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Windows infrastructure and VMware, including LAMP Stack, DNS, and SSL certificate management.
Proficient in Linux and open-source web environments with Linux shell scripting skills.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
RHCE, LPI, and MCSE certifications are preferred; experience with automation scripts, IAM, and security technologies is advantageous.
