Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide teaching support to undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
- Assist course instructors in preparing teaching materials and conducting small-group tutorial classes.
- Mark assignments, offer feedback, and supervise student work.
- Invigilate examinations and undertake other duties as assigned by course instructors.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences, Computer Science, Computational Social Science, or related discipline.
- At least one year of teaching and/or research experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with high proficiency in written and spoken English and good command of Chinese.
- Knowledge of mainstream Large Language Models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Muse Spark, Kimi) and working experience with Agentic AI is preferred.
- Teaching or research experience in computational social science, programming and data analysis skills, and familiarity with machine learning, text analytics, and social network analysis is preferred.
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with contract-end gratuity and University retirement benefits contribution (up to 10% of basic salary), renewable subject to funding and performance.
