Duties & Responsibilities

Advance the university's sustainability education strategy through leadership in biodiversity and ecosystem services.
Develop an internationally recognized research program addressing global challenges like biodiversity loss and climate change.
Teach using experiential "hands-on" learning methods at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Lead or participate in collaborative interdisciplinary research on biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services assessment.

Hold a doctoral degree in ecology, environmental science, biology, or a related interdisciplinary field.
Demonstrate proven teaching and advising experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Show a strong research and publication record consistent with the candidate's academic rank.
Display ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams with both social and natural scientists.
