Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the embalming team and Body Donation Programme.
- Instruct and train junior staff in mortuary and embalming procedures.
- Oversee the handling of human cadavers.
- Lead and explain public tours of the anatomy laboratory.
- Organize clinical workshops.
- Perform ad hoc and non-routine tasks as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in mortuary work, embalming, and prosecting animal or human specimens.
- Experience in soft-embalming techniques such as Barton's and Thiel's methods preferred.
- Knowledge of human anatomy highly preferred.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Appointment
- Full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract (renewable), with contract-end gratuity and retirement benefits contribution up to 10% of basic salary.
