Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate level courses within the Department's curriculum.
- Supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
- Conduct and publish high-quality, original research.
- Assume high-level service and administrative responsibilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Sociology, Demography, or related field.
- Established record of original, rigorous, and impactful scholarship.
- Publications in high-quality international journals.
- Ability to teach core undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Research expertise in Family Demography, Low Fertility Societies, or Family and Life-course Dynamics preferred.
- Digital methods expertise integrated with theory-driven work is advantageous.
Appointment
- Tenure-track position on a three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract.
