Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Family Demography in the Department of Sociology

Duties & Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the department.
Supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
Conduct and publish high-quality research in family demography and related areas.
Assume high-level service and administrative responsibilities.

Ph.D. degree in Sociology, Demography, or related field.
Established record of original, rigorous, and impactful scholarship.
Publications in high-quality international journals.
Ability to teach core undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Research expertise in family demography, low fertility societies, or family and life-course dynamics preferred.
Experience integrating digital methods with theory-driven and empirically grounded work is advantageous.

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor — Three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract.
