Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes.
- Supervise students at graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research work.
- Assume high-level service and administrative responsibilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Sociology, Anthropology, or a related discipline.
- Established record of original, rigorous, and impactful scholarship.
- Publications in high-quality international journals.
- Ability to teach core undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Research expertise in Socio-economic Inequality, AI and Society, or Sociology/Anthropology of Media and/or Culture.
- Digital methods expertise integrated with theory-driven and empirically grounded work is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year fixed-term contract.
