Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct frontier research in advanced materials, energy, and sustainability technologies.
- Deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Engage in knowledge transfer and industrial collaboration activities.
- Provide administrative support to the University, Faculty, and Department.
- Provide academic leadership in collaborative and interdisciplinary research (Associate Professor level).
- Mentor and support emerging scholars and researchers (Associate Professor level).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline.
- Exceptional research background in AI for Materials, Advanced Manufacturing, Semiconductor and Electronic Materials, or Energy Materials.
- Teaching and research experience in relevant areas with proven track record.
- Strong potential for research, scholarly publications, and competitive external funding.
Appointment
- Tenure-track, initial three-year fixed-term contract (renewable with possibility of tenure consideration before expiry of second three-year contract; exceptional Associate Professor candidates may be considered for tenure-track appointment).
