Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research in health economics, policy, or management.
Publish research articles in high-impact journals and secure competitive grants.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programs and supervise research postgraduate students.
Perform administrative duties as required by the division.

Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in economics, health economics, policy, management, or related discipline.
Demonstrate prior research experience in applied health economics, health systems analysis, health policy, or health system management.
Show strong track record of high-quality research through publications and external grants.
Evidence of international recognition and ability to work across disciplines on new research initiatives.
Demonstrate strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Full-time — Three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract; exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
