Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research in non-communicable diseases.
- Publish research articles in high-impact journals and attract competitive grants.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
- Perform administrative duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related discipline.
- Prior research experience in non-communicable disease epidemiology.
- Strong track record of high-quality research demonstrated by publications and external grants.
- Evidence of international recognition and ability to work across disciplines.
- Strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract; exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for tenure terms.
