Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish an innovative research programme at the forefront of biomedical engineering.
- Obtain significant external research funding and pursue interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Teach biomedical engineering subjects in the undergraduate degree programme within their expertise.
- Make substantial contributions to the School's strategic goals in academic and research collaborations locally, regionally and internationally.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Strong track record of high-quality research indicated by publication record and external grants.
- Evidence of international recognition and demonstrated ability to work across disciplines.
- Strong commitment to engaging students in inquiry-based learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Appointment
- Tenure-track, initially three-year fixed-term with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration; exceptional candidates may be appointed on tenure terms.
