Duties & Responsibilities

Provide academic leadership in planning, developing, and reviewing programmes in Sport and Recreation.
Oversee the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sports Therapy programme and related programmes.
Develop learning and teaching strategies, cross-disciplinary curricula, and manage student recruitment and accreditation.
Teach, supervise honours projects, and conduct scholarly activities including research and consultancy.
Maintain industry and educational partnerships to ensure programme relevance and excellence.

Hold a recognised Doctoral degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or related field.
Demonstrate substantial tertiary-level teaching experience and excellent academic leadership.
Have strong sports industry networks and work experience.
Possess a track record in cross-disciplinary research and accreditation exercises.
Be fluent in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Be registered or eligible for registration as a physiotherapist or sports therapist with relevant boards.
