Duties & Responsibilities

Provide academic leadership in planning, developing, and reviewing academic programmes in Sport and Recreation.
Oversee the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sports Therapy programme and related programmes.
Lead curriculum development, learning and teaching strategies, and student recruitment initiatives.
Teach, supervise honours projects, and deliver high-quality academic programmes.
Conduct research, consultancy work, and maintain industry collaborations and networks.
Manage programme accreditation exercises and maintain contacts with educational institutions and industry partners.

Hold a recognised Doctoral degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or related field.
Demonstrate substantial tertiary-level teaching experience and excellent academic leadership.
Have strong sports-related industry networks and work experience.
Show a record of cross-disciplinary research and scholarly activities.
Be registered or eligible for registration as a physiotherapist or sports therapist with relevant boards.
Possess fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Demonstrate good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
