Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop independent, world-class research programmes in marine science and conservation.
- Mentor students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Engage with regional marine protection networks and cross-sector coalitions focused on marine conservation and sustainable resource use.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Marine Science, Conservation Biology, Environmental Policy, Ecological Economics, or closely related field.
- Innovative scholar with growing or established international record of research excellence in Marine Science and Conservation.
- Strong research focus in contemporary marine conservation with proven track record of securing competitive research funding and publishing high-impact research.
- Expertise and research experience focused on Greater China, East Asia, and/or Southeast Asia.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure.
